'Criminal Conversations' Nearing Production
Si Dunn's romantic dramedy feature screenplay Criminal Conversations is nearing production in Santa Fe, NM, and is seeking more funding. Here is the logline:

A man meets up again with his ex-wife while his current spouse is dying and his ex-wife's current husband is suing her for divorce and trying to prove she is guilty of adultery.

Julesworks to Produce 'Gabe's Gambits'
Gabe's Gambits, a family drama feature screenplay by Si Dunn, will be produced by a production team headed by Julesworks in Santa Fe, NM. Giancarlo Esposito is attached to star as "Gabe" and direct. The low-budget script is in the vein of The Blind Side.
Shark Horror Script 'Dead in the Water' Optioned
Dead in the Water, a horror/thriller "creature feature" screenplay written by Si Dunn is under option to Canyon Pictures, with Harvey Lowry of Green Pictures attached to produce and Rob Walker to direct.
Novella Published with Good Reviews
Si Dunn's novella Jump has been published and is now available in paperback or Kindle book format from Amazon.com. It is also available as an e-book that can be downloaded from Lulu.com. Jump is a tale of combat, sex, alienation and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Gage Roberts is a man adrift, an ex-sailor with problems in every port of his life as he searches for love.

While trapped in an isolated ravine, a combat veteran who fears violence must save himself and his family from a crazed gunman tormented by the ghosts of three men he killed in Iraq.

A Web-based SF audio magazine has purchased rights to narrate and publish Si Dunn's short story "Our Indian," one of the winners in a 2008 WriteSafe contest. Publication details will be announced later.

Literary Award
Si Dunn's book project, Dark Signals: A Navy Radio Operator in the Tonkin Gulf, 1964-1965, won 1st runner-up in the manuscript category at the 2008 Mayborn Literary Nonfiction Writers Conference. The newly revised manuscript is now being offered to publishers.
Screenplay Panelist
Si Dunn was one of the screenplay panelists at the 2008 Santa Fe Film Festival. Others on the panel included Emmy Award-winner Kirk Ellis (JOHN ADAMS) and Bruce C. McKenna (BAND OF BROTHERS). Si discussed ways that screenwriters who do not have agents or managers can market their scripts using the Internet and other means.
Weenie Wednesday- Produced
Weenie Wednesday, a short film based on Si Dunn's screenplay, was an "Official Selection" at three film festivals in Puerto Rico and Spain after premiering at the Edition 2006 film festival in Paris. It was shot on 35mm film in Montreal. The producer/director is Philippe Roberge. The 7-1/2 minute comedy stars Derrick Damon Reeve, Jean-Robert Bourdage and Alexander Bisping.
Book Published
Si Dunn co-authored The Everything Online Auctions Book, a work focusing on how to buy and sell things and earn income using online auction sites such as eBay and Amazon. The book was published in May, 2006, by Adams Media and is available on Amazon and other book sites, as well as in bookstores. It is also now available as an e-book.
